(Beach) Bag Lady

I don’t need a new beach bag, but I’m entertaining the option. Straw bags look gloriously beach chic, but they just end up trapping sand and dumping it everywhere. Forever. I’d like to have a canvas/linen bag (top row) or nylon bag (below) preferably with a shoulder strap in addition to handles. I already have both bags on the bottom soooooo….?

In-Flight Necessities

Traveling to St. Martin is a journey. It’s not like going to Africa, but in my own frame of reference, getting the gremlin tribe up at 3am for 2 flights is my own first world struggle. Airline cabin air is dreadful so if my skin is comfortable, the trip is more tolerable. Kiehl’s facial mist is so refreshing, though a little herbal for the gremlins (7 and 3 years old) so they prefer the travel size Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Mist. We all use the Laura Mercier lip balm and Klorane wipes pull multi duty as face, hands and butt wipes. All of the hand washing requires a substantial hand cream otherwise I’d be rolling like THIS. Then a spirtz of Klorane baby cologne for us all. It’s fresh and light enough for coach class.

Sunglasses Situation

Resort wardrobe styling continues and the next requirement is a pair of 60-63 mm, oversized wire rimmed sunglasses with a tint dark enough to cover a makeup free face but not too dark to read price tags. My life goals pair is on top, but those would mean eating nothing but rice for the next month (I hate rice…it tastes like hard air). I nearly Chardonnay shopped them last night, but the wine metabolized and I came up with more options that would allow me to buy food as well.
